Maintenance and Engineering Manager
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and capital engineering activities at a major production site. This role is a key member of the site leadership team and will work closely with operations and technical leaders to set strategic direction and ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all maintenance and engineering functions, including daily execution and long-term strategy.
- Drive improvements in maintenance workflows to enhance safety, cost efficiency, and reliability.
- Implement asset management and reliability programs, including Mechanical Integrity, SIS inspections, PM/PdM, and equipment strategies.
- Utilize data-driven approaches to optimize asset performance and address recurring issues.
- Apply LEAN principles to reduce waste and foster continuous improvement.
- Manage contractor safety, cost, and performance for site maintenance and construction projects.
- Lead capital project planning and execution, ensuring alignment with site objectives and smooth integration into operations.
- Develop and monitor departmental goals and KPIs, holding the team accountable and providing coaching for performance improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in chemical or related industries.
- Strong background in maintenance and reliability systems.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
