Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our client's daily maintenance operations within their paper manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring all equipment and systems operate efficiently to support continuous production. This role involves scheduling preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and coordinating repairs to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise maintenance staff and assign tasks based on operational priorities

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for paper production equipment

  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment issues

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

  • Coordinate with production and engineering teams to support operational goals

  • Manage spare parts inventory and liaise with vendors for equipment and services

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in paper or manufacturing industries

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team

  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred
