Role & Responsibilities
As Maintenance Team Lead, you'll lead a team of around 10-15 technicians and ensure our production machinery runs safely and efficiently.
- Lead, support, and coach a team of maintenance technicians
- Oversee daily maintenance activities on production and packaging lines
- Be present on the shop floor, guiding and supporting your team
- Manage team performance, behaviours, and development (including reviews and HR topics)
- Work closely with operations to keep production running smoothly
- Identify issues, solve problems, and improve processes
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Review maintenance work and track performance through simple KPIs
- Drive a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone practical, people-focused, and technically strong:
- Background in mechanical, electrical, or technical engineering
- Experience working in maintenance within production, FMCG, or similar environments
- Previous experience leading or supervising a team
- Strong understanding of machinery and how production lines work
- Comfortable managing people, behaviours, and performance
- Hands-on, approachable, and able to guide others on the shop floor
- Good communication skills (Fluent in Dutch)
- Someone who takes ownership and focuses on solutions
