NPD Senior Quality Manager - Home Appliances
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary NPD Senior Quality Manager to lead quality strategy and execution for New Product Development (NPD) in the Home Appliances category across Asia. This role is pivotal in ensuring that every product meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction from concept through launch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Leadership: Define and implement quality standards and processes for NPD projects across multiple markets in Asia.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to embed quality into every stage of product development.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to global and regional regulatory requirements, certifications, and industry best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks early in the development cycle and drive proactive mitigation strategies.
- Continuous Improvement: Champion innovation in quality systems, tools, and methodologies to enhance product performance and customer experience.
- Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing quality team across the region.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in quality leadership roles within home appliances or consumer electronics within any products of kitchenware electronics (SDA) / Smart Home Appliances and IoT healthcare devices from own brands
- Proven track record in NPD quality management, including design validation, reliability testing, and supplier quality assurance.
- Strong knowledge of ISO standards, regulatory compliance, and product safety requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with frequent travel across Asia.
- Fluency of English and Mandarin Chinese is a must
