Company Profile: A food/beverage company is looking for a Procurement Systems Specialist to join their team. This person will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and continuously improving procurement systems, data, and process capabilities with a primary focus on SAP Ariba and enablement reporting - ensuring stable operations, effective user support, robust access/security, accurate data, and measurable adoption.
The Procurement Systems Specialist Will Be Responsible for the Following:
- Provide functional support across Ariba processes (e.g., buying/channel usage, contracts/sourcing workflows as applicable), including triage and resolution of user issues and service requests.
- Maintain and respond to incoming requests via the designated procurement enablement intake channel (e.g., enablement inbox / ticket queues).
- Support quarterly release readiness: review release impacts, coordinate testing of impacted features prior to production changes, and communicate business impacts/training needs with stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate Ariba admin documentation and job aids; ensure documentation remains current following releases and process changes.
- Develop a strategic overview and adoption plan for the Ariba product evolution roadmap.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders on catalogue onboarding/updates and ensure timely resolution of catalogue-related operational issues.
- Support data quality and reporting readiness for Ariba-derived datasets; collaborate with IT/data engineering on interfaces and data pipelines where required
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, documentation improvements, and increased automation within procurement system workflows.
The Procurement Systems Specialist Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years related experience and/or training
- Demonstrated experience supporting procurement processes and procurement systems, with hands-on capability to operate, administer, and maintain SAP Ariba in a business setting.
- Strong customer service, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Basic data analysis and reporting skills in Power BI, Power Automate including working with models/visuals and common controls (filters, slicers, sorting) and connecting to data sources as needed.
- Working knowledge of database structures and/or SQL; data staging concepts and collaborating with data engineering teams.
