Product Marketing Manager

We are supporting one of our clients in the Advanced Manufacturing space on their search for a Product Marketing Manager to oversee the complete life cycle of a defined product line, from concept development through end‑of‑life. This role supports strategic growth initiatives by aligning product strategy with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. Collaboration across engineering, supply chain, sales, and operations is essential to ensure product success and long‑term profitability.


Responsibilities

  • Manage product strategy, including pricing, promotion, channel planning, and portfolio positioning.
  • Monitor sales and margin performance; recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain the product portfolio strategy and multi‑generation product roadmap.
  • Support new product development and ensure alignment with customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee full product life‑cycle management, including product launches, updates, complexity reduction, and end‑of‑life planning.
  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize product development and drive business performance.
  • Create and maintain product literature, catalogs, technical materials, and competitive cross‑reference tools.
  • Participate in customer visits, sales events, and trade shows as required.
  • (Senior Level Only) Recruit, develop, and lead product management talent; manage product portfolios across multiple divisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of product management experience.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
