Production Supervisor
A highly productive chemical manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Production Shift Supervisor to lead hourly production personnel within a batch chemical processing environment. This position is responsible for driving safe, efficient operations, ensuring production targets are met, supervising daily shift activities, and supporting a strong safety and quality culture. Ideal candidates will have experience leading teams in chemical, process, or other manufacturing operations.
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Lead and direct Chemical Operators during assigned production shifts.
- Monitor batch production processes through HMI/control systems and field operations.
- Review batch sheets, SOPs, and production documentation to ensure compliance and consistency.
- Troubleshoot process deviations and escalate issues as needed.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Quality teams to resolve operational concerns.
- Ensure adherence to plant safety procedures, chemical handling requirements, and environmental standards.
- Document production activities, process issues, and shift performance.
The Production Supervisor should have the following qualifications:
- 4+ years of production supervision experience in manufacturing.
- 7+ years of experience in chemical processing, wastewater treatment, or similar process manufacturing environments.
- Experience with batch processing operations and HMI/process control systems.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of pumps, valves, and process equipment.
- Experience working within safety-driven manufacturing environments.
- Associate's or Technical Degree preferred; High School Diploma/GED required.
