Job Title: Regional Manager, Continuous Improvement & Quality Systems (QMS)

Department: Quality
Reports To: Head of Health, Safety & Quality


Position Summary

The Regional Manager, Continuous Improvement & Quality Systems (QMS) is responsible for driving and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement across the regional Quality organization. This role leads key initiatives to reduce cost of quality, improve operational performance, and strengthen problem-solving capabilities through structured methodologies such as 8D and Lessons Learned.

In addition, the role supports regional implementation and alignment of Quality Management System (QMS) standards, ensuring compliance, audit readiness, and continuous system improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the regional Continuous Improvement (CI) roadmap aligned with quality and business objectives
  • Establish and standardize CI methodologies across the region, with a focus on structured problem solving (8D) and Lessons Learned integration
  • Monitor and report on key CI performance metrics, including cost of quality and cost of change
  • Lead and coordinate a regional network of CI representatives, driving collaboration and consistency across sites
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to build capabilities in root cause analysis and structured problem solving
  • Oversee 8D investigations and ensure timely and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Drive Lessons Learned processes to prevent recurrence and improve process and product robustness
  • Identify and execute opportunities to reduce quality-related costs and improve performance
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations to embed CI practices into daily work processes
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the region

Quality Management System (QMS) Responsibilities

  • Support regional alignment with global QMS standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  • Ensure audit readiness through strong process control, documentation, and preventive systems
  • Drive consistency and effectiveness of CAPA processes across the region
  • Train and coach stakeholders on QMS expectations and their integration into CI activities
  • Support ongoing improvements to QMS processes to enhance compliance and system maturity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in Quality and Continuous Improvement within industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting regional or multi-site initiatives and cross-functional teams
  • Strong knowledge of structured problem solving (8D), root cause analysis, and Lessons Learned processes
  • Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt preferred)
  • Working knowledge of QMS systems, including ISO standards, CAPA processes, and audit readiness
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills in a global environment
  • Willingness to travel internationally

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in industrial environments, including walking, standing, and occasional lifting
  • Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
