About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Regional Pricing Manager - Air Freight to strengthen the organisation's competitive position across South Europe. You will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and optimising airfreight pricing strategies, working closely with regional sales, product, procurement, and global teams.
This is a high‑visibility role, ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the airfreight market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage airfreight pricing strategies for South Europe to support sales and product growth objectives.
- Consolidate and analyse market intelligence, procurement trends, and carrier rate structures.
- Coordinate pricing responses for RFQs, tenders, and strategic bids across the region.
- Ensure pricing consistency, profitability, and adherence to global pricing policies.
- Collaborate with regional and global air product leaders to optimise carrier procurement and rate levels.
- Support key customer presentations with rate structures, profitability models, and pricing insights.
- Maintain and update regional pricing tools, tariffs, and databases.
- Partner closely with the sales teams across South Europe to support customer acquisition and retention.
Requirements
- Significant experience in airfreight pricing, procurement, or commercial functions within freight forwarding (regional experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of airfreight rate structures, carrier procurement, and margin management.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑moving, multinational environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and French (both essential). Additional Southern European languages are a plus.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and freight forwarding systems.
