A leading food manufacturing organization is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join its team at the Philadelphia headquarters. This is a great opportunity for a safety-focused professional to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update safety and environmental compliance programs (LOTO, PPE, ERP, etc.)
- Facilitate Safety Committee meetings and conduct compliance audits
- Lead safety training sessions including new hire orientation and weekly huddles
- Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Collaborate with HR and plant management to reduce risks and improve safety
- Conduct regular audits of plant and distribution center safety
- Oversee inspections of fire equipment, AEDs, respirators, and more
- Maintain accurate documentation and labor law postings
- Support drug screening processes
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of safety experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations (General Industry)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- CPR/AED/First Aid certified
- Bachelor's degree in safety or related field preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish or other) a plus
- Experience in companies with 500+ employees preferred

- Frequent work in cold environments (28-35°F)
