Senior IT Procurement Associate
A leading global organization is seeking a Senior Procurement Associate to support strategic sourcing and category management across technology-related spend. This role partners closely with senior stakeholders to drive sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and enhance procurement processes. The ideal candidate is experienced, highly autonomous, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Responsibilities:
Category Management & Strategic Sourcing
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities across assigned indirect spend categories, with a focus on technology-related goods and services.
- Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, service quality, and supplier performance.
- Identify sourcing opportunities and lead RFP initiatives from requirements gathering through supplier selection and onboarding.
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Contracting & Supplier Management
- Lead contract review and negotiation processes in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure alignment with business needs and contractual expectations.
- Support issue resolution, escalations, and ongoing supplier governance.
Procurement Operations & Process Improvement
- Support and enhance procurement processes, including purchase order workflows and system utilization.
- Partner cross-functionally to improve efficiency, reporting capabilities, and spend visibility.
- Identify opportunities to reduce unmanaged spend and strengthen compliance with procurement policies.
Systems & Data Management
- Serve as a key user of procurement and ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy and process adherence.
- Support system enhancements and increased adoption of procurement tools and workflows.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier data, and contract documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with stakeholders across finance, legal, risk, and business teams to support procurement initiatives.
- Manage multiple sourcing projects and contract negotiations simultaneously.
- Provide updates, reporting, and insights to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of procurement experience, including sourcing and category management.
- Experience managing indirect spend categories, particularly within technology-related areas.
- Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and operate independently.
- Experience leading contract negotiations and collaborating with legal teams.
- Hands-on experience with ERP or procurement systems.
- Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
