The Role
As a Senior Process Engineer, you'll be at the heart of driving operational excellence. You'll lead initiatives to improve manufacturing processes, reduce variability, and enhance efficiency across the Fort Dodge facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze operational data to optimize equipment and process performance
- Collaborate with maintenance teams using predictive technologies
- Manage variable and fixed costs with finance and tech stakeholders
- Lead production shutdown planning and ensure compliance
- Support capital projects with cost-effective engineering solutions
- Supervise third-party personnel and promote safety and development
- Recommend best practices across departments
- Solve complex issues independently
What You'll Bring
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in corn milling, ethanol, or corn sweeteners production
- Strong engineering knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- Lean Certification
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Project management experience
- Advanced data analysis and continuous improvement skills
- Familiarity with PI (data historian), MS Project, Seeq, Minitab
