Senior Procurement Manager
We are supporting a leading renewable energy platform in the United States on their search for experienced Senior Procurement Manager join its engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) organization. The company manages a large and diverse portfolio of clean energy assets across the country and continues to expand through development and acquisition of new projects. This role offers the opportunity to influence procurement strategy and support the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects within a collaborative, inclusive, and fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support strategic procurement efforts for major equipment and essential services across the company's solar and battery storage portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
- Negotiate supply agreements for multiple categories of equipment.
- Conduct global market research, monitor regulatory trends, and identify potential risks that could affect supply chains or project timelines.
- Work closely with internal teams-including executive leadership, legal, development, finance, and construction-to ensure project needs are met across all stages.
- Contribute to process improvements, procurement planning, and strategy development aimed at optimizing cost, performance, and reliability.
- Utilize expertise in PV and battery energy storage procurement to drive value through creative solutions and effective problem solving.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or a related technical discipline (preferred).
- Minimum of four years of relevant professional experience with a proven record of strong performance.
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal-with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
- Highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing numerous projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Able to work independently while meeting deadlines and delivering consistently accurate outcomes.
- Coursework or experience in finance, economics, or project management is beneficial.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and/or Lean Six Sigma experience is considered a plus.
