Sr Product Quality Engineer

A leading manufacturer of high-performance electronic components is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to support the development, qualification, and lifecycle management of advanced power products used in mission-critical applications. This role is perfect for an experienced engineer who thrives at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and customer applications in a highly technical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical owner of assigned products from development through high-volume production, ensuring performance, quality, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with design, process, and test engineering to support product introductions and drive continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Analyze product performance and yield data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Act as a liaison between engineering, operations, and customers for product-related technical support and issue resolution.
  • Lead product qualification efforts, including reliability testing, failure analysis, and documentation in accordance with industry standards.
  • Drive cost-reduction and performance optimization initiatives through design for manufacturability (DFM), design for test (DFT), and component engineering activities.
  • Author and maintain technical documentation such as product specifications, application notes, and engineering change orders (ECOs).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing engineering, or applications engineering in the electronics or semiconductor industry.
  • Strong understanding of electronic component behavior, reliability testing, and product qualification processes.
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools and root cause problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, DOE).
  • Familiarity with power electronics, packaging, or microelectronics assembly is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
