As they scale operations and expand their global footprint, they are seeking a strategic and experienced Supply Chain Director to lead and optimize their end-to-end supply chain.
Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Director will oversee all aspects of supply chain management, including procurement, logistics, inventory control, supplier relationships, and strategic planning. This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials and products in a highly regulated and quality-driven industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with business goals and aerospace industry standards.
- Lead procurement, sourcing, and supplier management functions to ensure quality, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Oversee logistics and distribution operations, including inbound/outbound transportation and warehousing.
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce excess.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive digital transformation and automation across supply chain processes using ERP and advanced analytics tools.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead cross-functional efforts to improve supply chain performance.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations, export controls, and ethical sourcing practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership roles, preferably in aerospace or advanced manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality systems.
- Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and supply chain analytics.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- APICS, PMP, or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
