Compensation: $130,000-$150,000 base salary

Join a leading heavy manufacturing organization with a strong presence in the steel industry. We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Supply Chain Manager to oversee critical procurement and production planning functions, ensuring seamless inbound and outbound material flow across our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead steel procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
Develop and execute production planning strategies to align with manufacturing schedules and customer demand.
Manage inbound logistics, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and components.
Oversee outbound logistics, coordinating shipments and distribution to customers and partners.
Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to drive supply chain efficiency.
Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve turnover.
Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
7+ years of experience in supply chain roles within heavy manufacturing, preferably with steel industry exposure.
Proven expertise in steel procurement, production planning, and logistics operations.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain software.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
