We are partnering with a fast‑growing, innovation‑led food manufacturing company to appoint a Supply Chain Manager as part of its next phase of scale‑up. This role reports into the Head of Supply Chain and works closely with senior leadership to build robust, scalable operations across procurement, production, inventory, and logistics.
This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working in dynamic environments, thrives on cross‑functional collaboration, and has the operational mindset to turn complexity into clarity as the business continues to grow internationally.
The Role
As Supply Chain Manager, you will own and manage end‑to‑end supply chain operations, from sourcing raw materials through to the delivery of finished goods. You will play a critical role in ensuring operational efficiency, service excellence, and cost control while supporting a growing and increasingly complex supply chain footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and distribution
- Optimise logistics and transportation flows to ensure timely and cost‑effective deliveries across multiple markets
- Own and develop ERP and supply chain systems to enable data‑driven decision‑making and operational visibility
- Balance inventory availability and working capital across raw materials and finished goods
- Partner cross‑functionally with Product Development, Finance, and Commercial teams to support new product introductions and scale‑up
- Lead supplier and vendor management, ensuring compliance, continuity of supply, and cost efficiency
- Track, analyse, and improve key KPIs across service level, cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation, reporting, and process optimisation
- Support international expansion by adapting supply chain operations to new markets and regulatory requirements
Candidate Profile
- 3-7+ years' experience in supply chain management within Food, Beverage, FMCG, or CPG manufacturing
- Strong hands‑on experience across logistics, procurement, inventory control, and order management
- Proven exposure to ERP and supply chain systems (e.g. ERP, WMS, IMS, planning tools)
- Experience managing suppliers, executing production plans, and supporting customer service operations
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communicator who works effectively across technical, commercial, and operational teams
- Comfortable working flexibly to align with international stakeholders (including US time zones where required)
- Able to join with a short notice period
