Supply Planning COE Lead - Process Excellence
The Supply Planning COE Lead - Process Excellence is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide inventory and production planning processes. This role focuses on optimizing long-term and near-term planning capabilities, leveraging advanced planning systems and ERP solutions to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
This individual will partner cross-functionally to enhance integrated business planning (IBP), drive standardization, and ensure best-in-class supply planning practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous refinement of enterprise supply planning processes, including inventory and production planning controls
- Drive adoption and optimization of advanced planning tools (e.g., o9 or equivalent) and ERP platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud or similar)
- Support and sustain supply planning processes within an Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement end-to-end planning processes and improve existing workflows
- Manage planning data and processes through organizational changes such as network realignments, acquisitions, divestitures, product launches, and discontinuations
- Provide system and modeling support to supply planning users across all levels of the organization
- Define and communicate roles, responsibilities, and expectations for supply planning teams
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives by incorporating industry best practices and emerging methodologies
- Participate in enterprise supply chain initiatives and ensure delivery of expected business outcomes

- Drive alignment between short-term execution and long-term strategic supply planning
- Continuously enhance tools, processes, and capabilities of the supply planning function
- Establish and track performance objectives aligned with business goals
- Support talent development by fostering learning, growth, and engagement within the team
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of experience in supply planning, production scheduling, or operations
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Computer Science, or a related field
- Hands-on experience with advanced planning tools (e.g., o9, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder)
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud or similar platforms)
- Demonstrated experience with long-term supply planning (6 months to 5-year horizon)
- Experience supporting or participating in system implementations, process design, or policy development
- Strong project management and communication skills, with ability to influence stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and enterprise system testing tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Ability to travel as needed (~10%)
Preferred
- 5+ years of supply planning or related experience
- 2+ years of people leadership or team development experience
- APICS or equivalent supply chain certification
- Experience with data analysis and automation tools (e.g., Power Query, Python, R, Alteryx)
- Exposure to data warehousing, cloud platforms, or legacy planning systems
- Direct experience implementing advanced planning systems or leading supply planning transformation initiatives
