Position Summary

The Vice President of Sales will serve as the senior commercial leader responsible for launching and building the company's U.S. oilfield chemicals business. This role will initially lead go‑to‑market efforts hands on while establishing the foundation for a scalable commercial organization, including sales strategy, customer coverage, and commercial processes. As the U.S. market gains traction, this individual will be responsible for building and leading the broader commercial team. The VP of Sales will work closely with international manufacturing, technical, and R&D partners to introduce differentiated products, secure anchor customers, and develop a sustainable U.S. growth platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a U.S. sales strategy focused on growth within major oilfield service companies and Tier 2 providers.
  • Build new customer relationships and expand existing accounts through technical, consultative selling.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, including opportunity development, product qualification, field evaluations, and post‑deployment performance follow up.
  • Lead technical discussions related to slurry design, product performance, cementing additives, stimulation chemicals, and drilling fluids.
  • Coordinate closely with global manufacturing and R&D teams to align customer needs with production capabilities and product development.
  • Oversee field trials, troubleshoot customer challenges, and ensure smooth technical adoption of products.
  • Represent the organization within the Texas oilfield community as a trusted, experienced, and credible partner.
  • Build the U.S. commercial foundation from the ground up, including market entry strategy, customer segmentation, and the eventual expansion of the sales organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Based in Texas with deep exposure to the U.S. oilfield landscape.
  • 10+ years of experience in oilfield chemicals with a strong track record of commercial success.
  • Technical expertise in cementing additives, stimulation chemicals, drilling fluid additives, or related specialty oilfield chemistry.
  • Strong network and proven relationships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 service providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to grow accounts and win new business in the oilfield services market.
  • Hands on experience managing product qualifications, field trials, and field troubleshooting.
  • Highly independent and entrepreneurial, with experience building commercial operations in new or underdeveloped markets.
  • Excellent cross cultural communication skills with the ability to work effectively with international manufacturing and R&D groups.
  • Respected within the Texas oilfield community with a reputation for integrity and technical competence.
  • Self motivated by autonomy, ownership, and building new markets.
