About the Role

A leading national healthcare organization is seeking a senior executive leader to drive strategy, contracting, and value creation across capital equipment and non-labor spend categories. This role will own enterprise-wide initiatives spanning supplier partnerships, contracting strategy, and lifecycle management of critical assets.

This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for shaping long-term strategy, delivering measurable financial performance, and leading transformational initiatives across a complex, multi-entity environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise contracting strategy and execution across capital equipment categories
  • Own high-value supplier negotiations, ensuring optimal pricing, terms, and performance
  • Manage and strengthen executive-level supplier relationships
  • Drive end-to-end asset lifecycle strategy (planning, acquisition, utilization, disposition)
  • Partner cross-functionally with clinical, finance, legal, and executive stakeholders
  • Deliver year-over-year savings, growth, and operational efficiency improvements
  • Develop and scale new service offerings and business capabilities
  • Influence senior leadership decision-making and organizational direction
  • Lead, develop, and optimize high-performing, multi-level teams
  • Oversee large-scale transformation initiatives to modernize processes and systems
  • Ensure strong governance, compliance, and alignment with organizational priorities

Qualifications

  • MUST HAVE: Experience in the healthcare sector
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, contracting, or supply chain leadership
  • 8+ years leading teams and organizational functions at scale
  • Deep experience managing complex, high-dollar contracts and supplier relationships
  • Strong background in healthcare and/or regulated industries preferred
  • Experience with capital equipment, asset management, or large-scale procurement programs
  • Demonstrated success driving enterprise strategy and transformation initiatives
  • Proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and cross-functional leaders
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
