CNG - Principal Engineer
Summary
Seeking a Senior Engineer with strong expertise in flexible packaging, specifically meat and cheese film development. This role will own key film platforms from concept through commercialisation, driving innovation, scalability, and technical excellence while partnering closely with cross-functional teams and customers.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead development of meat and cheese film platforms, including performance and road map
- Drive projects from ideation through commercialisation with clear goals and decision frameworks
- Plan and execute lab and plant trials across extrusion and packaging lines (VFFS, HFFS, forming, IWS)
- Troubleshoot product and process issues using structured root cause analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally and engage with customers to support trials and improve performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 5+ years of experience in flexible packaging, extrusion, or film development
- Preferred experience with meat and/or cheese packaging applications
- Proven ability to lead technical projects from concept to commercialisation
- Strong knowledge of polymers, resin systems, and film performance characteristics
