Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and implementation of a comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management system across all global operations, ensuring alignment with international standards and local regulations.
- Define, communicate, and monitor annual HSE objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs), fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Plan and execute internal audits and assessments to evaluate compliance, identify risks, and ensure the effectiveness of safety protocols and environmental practices.
- Design and coordinate global safety campaigns, including awareness weeks, training programs, and the establishment of core safety principles that resonate across diverse cultural and operational contexts.
- Utilize digital platforms and data analytics tools to collect, interpret, and report HSE-related data, transforming insights into actionable strategies that enhance workplace safety and environmental stewardship.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing regular updates on HSE performance, emerging risks, and strategic initiatives, while advocating for sustainable and responsible business practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Operations, HR, and Facility Management to integrate HSE considerations into broader business processes and decision-making frameworks.
- Stay abreast of evolving industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to proactively adapt the HSE strategy and maintain a position of leadership in safety and sustainability.
Your Profile
- You hold a recognized qualification in occupational health and safety, environmental science, or a related field, ideally complemented by certification as an internal or lead auditor (e.g., ISO 45001).
- You bring extensive experience in managing HSE programs within complex, multinational organizations, with a proven ability to lead transformative initiatives and drive measurable improvements.
