A rapidly growing food and beverage manufacturer is seeking a Procurement Specialist with strong experience in sourcing fruits and vegetables. In this role, you will serve as a strategic leader focused on optimizing procurement operations, establishing best‑in‑class sourcing practices, strengthening governance, and delivering high‑quality analytics to support critical business decisions. As the company continues its significant growth trajectory, they are looking for someone who can bring deep expertise and help elevate their supply strategy to the next level.
The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Work closely with global Procurement team to identify best practices for sourcing, negotiation, contract management, supplier relationship management, purchasing practices, and governance for Procurement
- Develop and leverage data analytics through SAP to measure performance, identify cost reduction opportunities, and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Marketing to monitor production levels and ensure proper supply
- Lead their documentation, automation, and implementation across systems, technologies, and published policy
The Procurement Specialist Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in procurement. Expertise in negotiations and contracting
- Food and beverage experience is a must. Fruits, Vegetables, Proteins, Grains and other perishables are a preferred
- Proven experience in implementing and/or optimizing procurement processes
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong time management skills
