Senior General Manager
A leading egg producer is seeking a seasoned Regional Operations Manager. This role is critical to driving operational excellence, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced poultry production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operations using Lean Manufacturing principles to improve quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
- Develop and coach teams to foster strong employee relations and performance.
- Resolve operational challenges to enhance productivity and collaboration.
- Optimize inventory and material usage to improve efficiency.
- Oversee staffing needs and enforce consistent policy adherence.
- Support capital investment and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Food/Poultry Science) or equivalent experience.
- 10 years of poultry management experience.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Expertise in egg production equipment and poultry care.
- Familiarity with farm infrastructure and machinery maintenance.
- Strong understanding of biosecurity and animal welfare standards.
- Excellent communication, team building, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and budgets effectively.
Work Environment
- Clean, temperature controlled environment. Noise level is low. No personal protective equipment needed.
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles. Temperature varies in relation to the outside temperature. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Proper personal protective equipment will be required during certain working conditions.
