One of our clients in the heavy manufacturing industry is looking to bring on an experienced Senior Operations Manager. This person will play a crucial role in the success and expansion of their facility.
Location: Little Rock, Arkansas area (relocation assistance available)
Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000
Title: Senior Operations Manager
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple production lines, ensuring output targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.
- Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and frontline teams to drive performance and accountability.
- Monitor and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and control costs.
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards in a heavy manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment
- Education: Engineering degree preferred, lean six sigma black belt preferred
- Experience overseeing multiple departments
- Previous KPI oversight and strong communication abilities
