Key Responsibilities
Forecasting & Demand Planning
- Develop and execute accurate demand forecasts that incorporate seasonal fluctuations, promotional activity, and evolving market trends.
- Ensure proactive preparation for upcoming business needs through robust forecasting strategies.
Supply & Demand Alignment
- Analyze historical data and demand trends to balance inventory requirements with company objectives.
- Reduce excess inventory while minimizing stockouts and ensuring product availability.
Data-Driven Optimization
- Dive deep into complex datasets to identify patterns, generate insights, and influence procurement, production, and financial decisions.
- Leverage analytics to enhance supply planning and operational performance.
Inventory Management
- Oversee replenishment strategies and manage timely order placement to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Prevent material waste and maintain strong product flow across all categories.
Process Improvement
- Identify gaps in current workflows and introduce innovative solutions that refine forecasting, planning, and supply chain methodologies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to align on forecasts and resolve supply challenges.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships to support business goals.
Strategic Project Leadership
- Lead initiatives focused on cost reduction, sustainability, and long-term operational excellence.
Logistics & Import Operations
- Design and manage inbound logistics strategies using integrated systems and vendor portals to optimize costs, lead times, and on-time delivery.
- Communicate directly with freight forwarders and review shipping documentation (bills of lading, manifests, etc.) for compliance.
- Initiate and confirm bookings with domestic transportation partners to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or inventory management (experience in fast-growth environments preferred).
- Advanced Excel proficiency, including macros, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong strategic thinking capabilities with the ability to align planning with organizational goals.
- Comfortable adapting to shifting priorities while generating creative solutions.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects under tight timelines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
