My client, a rapidly expanding technology company in the logistics sector, is looking for a commercially driven Account Executive to lead business development efforts in the German market. Key Responsibilities
- Market Development: Collaborate with internal teams to shape and execute a go-to-market strategy for Germany.
- Lead Generation & Qualification: Identify and engage potential clients using a mix of tools, support, and your own initiative.
- Sales Presentations: Deliver tailored product demonstrations to both new prospects and existing clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from operational contacts to senior executives.
- Negotiation & Closing: Manage pricing discussions and contract negotiations independently.
- Account Expansion: Work closely with customer success to identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Partner Collaboration: Engage with regional partners to support client acquisition and retention.
- Travel: Attend industry events and visit clients across Germany as needed.
- Cross-Functional Input: Share market insights with product and marketing teams to help shape future development.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Skills & Experience
- Native-level German and fluent English (additional European languages are a plus).
- 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management-ideally in logistics, transportation, or SaaS.
- Demonstrated ability to build and manage a client portfolio from the ground up.
- Experience with complex B2B sales cycles, including consultative and solution-based selling.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and structured sales methodologies.
