We're looking for an experienced Application Engineer to join a highly specialised Automotive Application team focused on high-performance polymers and plastics.
This is a selective hire - we're seeking a high-calibre professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong customer-facing skills. You'll act as the key technical interface to automotive clients, leading projects from concept through prototyping to delivery.
🔧 Your Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end customer projects in the automotive sector
- Act as the primary technical contact for clients
- Translate requirements into practical solutions and prototypes
- Collaborate closely with engineering and sales teams
- Support application development
- Represent the business at client meetings & industry events
🎯 Your Profile
- 5-15 years' experience (10+ ideal) in a technical/project environment
- Strong customer-facing / stakeholder management skills
- Background in automotive or strong personal passion for it
- Expertise in polymers / high-performance plastics
- Degree in a technical field (Master's in Mechanical Engineering preferred)
- Fluent German (mandatory) + professional English
