About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Development Manager - SEA Markets (Hybrid) t to lead market expansion and commercial growth across Southeast Asia within the power generation industry. This hybrid role combines high-level client engagement, strategic partnerships, and market intelligence to drive sustainable business growth in a rapidly evolving energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a regional business development strategy focused on power generation solutions (renewable, hybrid, and conventional).
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances across SEA markets.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract development, and deal closure with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance) to ensure alignment with client needs and project delivery.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings across the region.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in business development or commercial leadership within the power generation, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong understanding of SEA market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and energy transition trends.
  • Experience with hybrid energy systems, renewable integration, or distributed generation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally and work across diverse cultural and business environments.
