China Quality Assurance Manager (Textiles & Garment Manufacturing)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve quality control systems covering raw materials, fabrics, and finished garments
  • Lead and manage large, multidisciplinary QC teams (inspection and administration), both on‑site and in the field
  • Establish and enforce inspection and audit protocols across all manufacturing stages, from raw materials to final product
  • Oversee AQL inspections, laboratory testing, defect analysis, and root‑cause investigations
  • Drive resolution of critical non‑conformities, working closely with production, product development, and logistics teams
  • Define, monitor, and analyze quality KPIs, supporting performance improvement and operational transparency
  • Design and deliver technical and quality training programs for QC and operational teams
  • Act as a key point of contact for international stakeholders on quality‑related topics

Candidate Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Apparel Production, or related disciplines

Professional Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in quality control within the textile and apparel manufacturing industry
  • Minimum 3 years managing large teams (10+ people), preferably in multi‑factory or Asia‑based environments
  • Solid hands‑on experience in fabric evaluation, garment inspection, and factory quality systems

Technical Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of woven and knit fabrics, natural and synthetic materials, as well as dyeing, printing, and finishing processes
  • In‑depth understanding of international quality standards (e.g. ISO, AQL, OEKO‑TEX)
  • Fluent English and Mandarin (spoken and written)
  • Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and quality management software
