About the RoleWe are partnering with a leading specialty chemicals group to identify a Vice President of Supply Chain. This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence, global supply chain strategy, and transformation initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global supply chain strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and service levels
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, planning, logistics, and distribution
- Manage a large-scale manufacturing footprint (8-10 plants), ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Lead transformation projects to enhance operational performance and implement best practices
- Foster collaboration across multiple business units and regions, ensuring seamless integration of supply chain processes
- Build and mentor high-performing regional and global teams, driving engagement and accountability
What We're Looking For
- Strong background in chemical or industrial sectors
- Proven experience managing large-scale supply chain operations for organizations of comparable size and complexity
- Expertise in overseeing multiple manufacturing sites with full responsibility for procurement, planning, logistics, and distribution
- Strategic leadership capabilities with a track record of designing and implementing global supply chain strategies
- Exceptional ability to lead diverse teams across regions and foster cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred
- 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain leadership roles
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
