What You'll Do
In this role, you'll own machine setup, operation, and programming for both CNC and laser cutting systems. You will:
- Set up and operate CNC and laser cutting machines to produce high‑precision parts.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to ensure accurate machining.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep equipment running efficiently.
- Create and optimize CNC/laser programs using G‑code or CAD/CAM platforms.
- Design and fabricate custom tooling, jigs, and fixtures to streamline production.
- Support robotic programming and integration efforts for material handling and automation.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
What You Bring
- High school diploma required; technical diploma or associate degree in machining, manufacturing, or mechatronics preferred.
- 3+ years of experience operating and programming CNC and/or laser cutting machines.
- Strong understanding of CAD/CAM software and G‑code.
