Our client is looking for a proactive and results-oriented Account Manager to join their growing team, with a focus on clients in the industrial and commercial space-including manufacturing facilities, retail centers, automotive operations, energy providers, and agricultural businesses. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who excels in field-based sales, relationship building, and delivering sustainable solutions tailored to complex operational environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Prospecting
- Identify and engage potential clients across industrial and commercial sectors.
- Conduct cold calls, site visits, and networking to generate new business.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
Client Engagement
- Visit client facilities to assess environmental service needs and present customized solutions.
- Develop strong relationships with operations managers, facility directors, and procurement teams.
- Understand client pain points and offer value-driven service proposals.
Account Management
- Serve as the primary liaison for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver timely and effective service solutions.
- Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for upselling or expansion.
Sales & Performance Tracking
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and contracts.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Experience in B2B sales, preferably within environmental services, industrial operations, or commercial services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with field-based sales and cold outreach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client relationships.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally.
