EHS Field Technician
About the Role:
Our client, a well-established chemical manufacturing company, is seeking a dedicated Field Safety Technician to support on-site safety operations and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards. This hands-on role is essential for maintaining a safe work environment and supporting the company's commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine safety inspections and audits across production and field operations.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety protocols, PPE usage, and hazardous material handling procedures.
- Assist in incident investigations and root cause analysis, and support corrective action implementation.
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to field personnel.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Support emergency response drills and readiness activities.
Candidate Profile:
- Associate's degree or technical certification in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of safety experience in a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and chemical safety practices.
- Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety.
- Ability to work in field conditions and respond to safety concerns in real time.
