EHS Manager
DSJ Global is seeking an EHS Manager to join a leading energy technology company in the Mayville, WI area.
The EHS Manager will oversee daily environmental, health, and safety operations at a facility, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. They will lead safety initiatives, incident prevention, environmental monitoring, and internal audits while working cross-functionally to promote a zero-incident culture. The role also ensure the sites operations meet all regulatory requirements using industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead hazardous waste reduction, recycling programs, and industrial hygiene efforts while managing SDS/Hazard Communication and compliance documentation.
- Oversee EHS training, lead safety committees, and promote a strong safety culture through the Drive to Zero program.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and job safety analyses to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
- Perform ergonomic and safety risk assessments, implement corrective actions, and train employees on proper safety procedures.
- Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and lead implementation of preventive and risk-reduction measures.
- Manage EHS data systems (SAP), supervise EHS staff, and support strategic initiatives across multiple facilities
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree - Masters in EHS related field preferred
- 5 years of progressive EHS experience
- 3 years of implementation experience with safety related programs
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of waste management regulations
- CHMM, CSP, CIH, or PE Certification
- Experience preparing semi-annual and annual environmental reports (e.g., Tier II, emission inventory, hazardous waste, TRI, air permit monitoring, etc.)
