EHS Manager
Overview:
The EHS Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry standards. This role supports a culture of safety and sustainability within a high-precision manufacturing environment serving aerospace and defense customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage EHS programs, policies, and procedures across manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DoD, and other applicable regulations and standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations; implement corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors.
- Oversee hazardous materials management, waste disposal, and environmental reporting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce workplace hazards and environmental impact.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to integrate EHS into all processes.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of EHS experience in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ISO 14001, and AS9100 standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance (if required).
