Engineering Manager (Up-Stream)

Overview:
Lead the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of plant facilities, equipment, and systems. Drive operational excellence, ensure compliance, and support strategic initiatives in engineering, EHS, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance and calibration to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
- Manage systems for planning and tracking maintenance and calibration activities.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and regulatory standards.
- Maintain critical spare parts inventory for automation and control systems.
- Lead and develop a skilled engineering team; manage hiring, training, and performance.
- Develop and manage budgets, long-term plans, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support plant-wide EHS and quality programs.
- Approve engineering documentation, procedures, and change controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Liaise with government authorities and other company divisions as needed.
- Act as delegate for the Engineering Director when required.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in utilities, automation, instrumentation, and project management.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong business acumen and customer focus.
