The Extrusion Manager will oversee daily operations within a multi-press aluminum extrusion facility, leading production teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency objectives. This role is responsible for managing extrusion processes, staffing, production schedules, tooling readiness, equipment performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. The individual will work closely with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to optimize press performance, reduce scrap, improve throughput, and ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
A key aspect of the position is providing technical leadership within the extrusion operation. The manager will support die trials, analyze die performance, troubleshoot production challenges, and drive improvements related to metal flow, dimensional control, and overall process optimization. The role also requires fostering a strong safety culture, developing production personnel, and implementing Lean Manufacturing practices to improve operational performance across the facility.
