Field Sales Leader

Position Overview:
A leader in the beverage consumer good space is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Manager to join our Sales team. This role is responsible for driving sales growth in both new and existing accounts, while providing direct field sales and merchandising support within the assigned geographic territory.

This position will be based in and around Central and Northern New Jersey. Only candidates based in this geographical area will be considered.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales strategies to drive product sales, expand distribution, and ensure promotional execution across all retail channels within the assigned territory.
  • Secure new business opportunities and grow the customer base by promoting the full SodaStream product ecosystem.
  • Deliver training and product education to new and existing retail partners.
  • Maintain consistent communication with the Regional Manager, Marketing, Field Sales, and Account Management teams.
  • Support Account Managers with additional tasks as assigned by leadership.
  • Participate in weekly recap meetings to share successes and identify challenges.
  • Utilize software tools for sales tracking, reporting, and communication with store and internal teams.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals and KPIs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Previous experience in sales and merchandising within a retail environment preferred.
  • Proven ability to build professional relationships with store personnel at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and virtual communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Central and Northern New Jersey market.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.

Additional Information:

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Physical activity such as bending and climbing may be required for merchandising.
  • Travel within the territory is required, including occasional overnight stays.
  • Availability for occasional evening and weekend work.
