IT Sourcing Manager - VP
Summary:
A global financial services organization is seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of IT Sourcing to support the transformation of its Sourcing & Procurement function. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a background in procurement operations. The VP will lead key initiatives, manage cross-functional projects, and drive continuous improvement across sourcing and procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project management and execution of strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives.
- Coordinate planning, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement for transformation projects.
- Deliver project status updates and reporting using standardized templates and communication tools.
- Manage a portfolio of procurement projects, including change management and impact measurement.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to assess current and future state processes.
- Document business requirements and support adoption of new tools, processes, and technologies.
- Prepare strategic business analyses and presentations for senior leadership.
- Support the development of team processes, procedures, and PMO-related priorities.
Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of experience in strategic project management within a procurement or sourcing function.
- Strong knowledge of procurement operations and technologies (e.g., Coupa, Ariba).
- Experience with project management tools and working with internal tech teams and external consultants.
- Background in banking, finance, management consulting, or corporate planning preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
