Manufacturing Manager

The Manufacturing Manager provides leadership across production operations to drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and profitability. This role oversees hourly and support staff while leading continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring alignment with plant and business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead safety initiatives and maintain a clean, compliant, injury-free work environment
  • Drive performance across key metrics: OEE, throughput, delivery, quality, and profitability
  • Improve manufacturing planning, execution, and shop floor discipline
  • Champion Lean, continuous improvement, and waste reduction initiatives
  • Optimize product flow, reduce cycle time, and lower labor cost
  • Own departmental budgets and support financial performance goals
  • Conduct capacity analysis and establish standard work
  • Partner with engineering to improve processes and product quality
  • Ensure strong communication across teams, leadership, and customers
  • Maintain high delivery performance and customer satisfaction
  • Develop, coach, and grow supervisors, team leads, and operators
  • Align plant goals with business unit objectives and drive accountability

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience (including 3+ years in a supervisory role)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business
  • Experience in investment casting or similar heavy manufacturing environments
  • Strong Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement background
  • Technical expertise in manufacturing processes (tooling, molds, dies, etc.)
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
