Operations Manager
We're looking for an Operations Manager who brings innovation and leadership to drive operational excellence. In this role, you will oversee manufacturing operations within a key value stream, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Lead and direct the operations team to meet safety, service, cost, and efficiency goals.
- Manage daily production activities to achieve commitments and implement improvements.
- Drive process optimization through improved systems, tooling, and equipment.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional projects and kaizen events to support continuous improvement.
- Act as a key liaison for customer interactions, ensuring strong communication and responsiveness.
- Monitor performance metrics; implement countermeasures and recovery plans for missed targets.
- Recommend and execute changes in production capability, equipment, and staffing to support business plans.
- Collaborate with Sales/Marketing and other functions to address customer and market needs.
- Manage departmental budgets, including expense and capital planning.
- Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and hands-on problem-solving among team members.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations leadership, including 2+ years managing Supervisors.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, data-driven approach to problem-solving.
