Production Manager, Swing Shift
We're seeking a Production Manager to oversee night shift operations and lead high-performing teams in the food manufacturing industry.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:30 PM - 2:30 AM
In this role, you'll guide production teams to meet operational goals, ensure safety and compliance, and drive continuous improvement. You'll analyze performance metrics, adapt production plans, and foster a collaborative work environment. Your leadership will be key to maintaining high standards and delivering quality products efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate production, packaging, and quality teams during night operations
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement data-driven improvements
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, GMP standards, and company policies
- Collaborate with maintenance, planning, and logistics teams to optimize work flow
- Coach and develop team members to build a high-performing, empowered workforce
- Identify and resolve operational challenges in real time to maintain production flow
- Support quality assurance initiatives and customer satisfaction goals
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of leadership in a production or manufacturing setting
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel and production systems
- Familiarity with Total Quality Management principles
