Quality Leader
Position Summary:
- Lead and manage site food safety, quality, and compliance programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements (HACCP, GMPs, FSMA) and internal standards.
- Oversee environmental monitoring, sanitation, and microbiological programs, including validation of cleaning processes and adherence to sampling plans.
- Drive investigations and CAPA execution for deviations while maintaining required documentation (CCPs, product release, audit readiness).
- Conduct audits (internal and external) and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and third-party standards.
- Analyze and report KPIs, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and deliver food safety training while partnering cross-functionally to enhance processes and sanitary design.
The Quality & Food Safety Leader should have the following qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience with exposure to food safety, quality, or compliance.
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, and regulatory standards; certifications (e.g., HACCP, PCQI) preferred.
- Audit, regulatory, or environmental monitoring experience is a plus, along with prior leadership exposure.
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ERP experience (e.g., SAP) beneficial.
