On behalf of a prominent European Tier-2 supplier to the automotive industry, we are looking for a:

Senior Key Account Manager

Location: Suzhou, China

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with current and potential customers; conduct direct contact, including frequent business travel.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
  • Prepare quotations and cost calculations for products, tools, and services for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Acquire new customers and projects aligned with business growth.
  • Collaborate and communicate closely with internal sales management.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial conditions with customers.
  • Represent the company at customer visits, exhibitions, industry events, and automotive gatherings.
  • Recognize and verify new or updated customer requirements, communicating relevant changes to the Quality Manager (in collaboration with sales, engineering, QE, and IMS teams).
  • Implement and train on updated customer requirements per Quality Manager guidance.
  • Collect and analyze market trends and competitor intelligence; support marketing initiatives and strategy execution.
  • Perform additional assignments as delegated by superiors.

Requirements:

  • University Degree or at least five (5) years related on the job experience.
  • At least 5 years experience in Automotive Business (Sales or Marketing).
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English.
  • Quality Management knowledge of IATF 16949 or QS 9000 and Quality Management core tools.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation ability with customers.
