Salary: $95-100K
Location: Remote (must be based in EST)
Schedule: Remote with quarterly travel to Virginia
Company Profile: A leader in the food space is looking to add a Senior Procurement Manager to their team. This person will be responsible for understanding business processes and systems as it relates to the supply chain and develop improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiencies.
The Senior Procurement Manager Will Be Responsible for the Following:
- Lead the development and execution of category strategies for key raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend to support business growth and cost optimization
- Conduct category spend analysis, supplier segmentation, market assessments, and risk evaluations to identify opportunities for value creation
- Present to, negotiate, and influence all levels of the organization from IC to Senior Leadership across all organizational business units
- Identify problems, issues, shortfalls, and look to fix/improve department operational efficiencies
The Senior Procurement Manager Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Raw materials experience within the food industry
- Ability to navigate through large complex data sets in PowerBI
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet goals and pre-defined metrics requirements
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and utilizing project management applications
