Our Client is looking to add on a Six Sigma Lead to their growing team in AL.

This role serves as both a hands‑on executor and a change leader, responsible for delivering high‑impact initiatives that improve business and operational performance. The individual will lead complex, cross‑functional projects end‑to‑end, applying data‑driven problem solving and modern analytical approaches to design, build, and deploy scalable solutions within our client's operations and business processes.

The role plays a key part in expanding our client's continuous improvement and advanced analytics capabilities, supporting broader adoption of digital and AI‑enabled solutions across the enterprise.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead priority initiatives aligned to operational and corporate objectives, delivering measurable and sustainable value.
  • Collaborate across operations, centers of excellence, and corporate functions to standardize, replicate, and scale successful approaches.
  • Apply structured continuous improvement methods combined with advanced analytics to improve processes, quality, and decision making.
  • Support the development and use of advanced modeling, simulation, and optimization techniques to enhance operational performance.
  • Leverage emerging technologies, including AI‑enabled tools, to improve knowledge capture, data access, and workflow efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual or repetitive work through automation and process redesign.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, stakeholders, and benefit realization for assigned initiatives.
  • Promote disciplined experimentation, data‑driven decision making, and process control practices.
  • Learn and apply best practices related to data quality, model deployment, monitoring, and governance to ensure reliable and responsible use of analytics.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate documentation, standards, and change management materials.
  • Train, mentor, and support other team members as methodologies and tools are rolled out more broadly.
  • Communicate progress, insights, and results clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ensure all solutions align with internal standards, safety expectations, and regulatory or cybersecurity requirements.
  • Travel periodically to operational and corporate sites as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Several years of experience in operations, process improvement, analytics, automation, or a related environment.
  • Strong interest in applying data, analytics, and AI to real‑world business and operational problems.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technical systems and work effectively with operational data.
  • Familiarity with analytics or modeling concepts, with a willingness to deepen technical and operational expertise.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear business insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across functions, influence stakeholders, and drive change.
