Our client within the investment management space is looking for an experienced Vendor Master Data Management (VMDM) Lead to join their team in Dallas, Texas. This opportunity will empower you to lead and enhance vendor management processes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will partner closely with Procurement and Accounts Payable Leadership teams to drive best practices, ensure vendor data quality, and contribute to the broader success of the organization's procurement and supply chain strategies.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
- Vendor Data Expertise: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and standardization of vendor data across ERP and Source-to-Pay systems, including the use of Coupa.
- Process Optimization: Automate and enhance VMDM workflows to boost efficiency and minimize errors.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to integrate robust VMDM processes and optimize vendor onboarding.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Manage vendor onboarding policy, conduct risk and compliance assessments, and proactively address emerging vendor risks.
- Analytical and Technical Proficiency: Utilize systems like SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) or Microsoft D-365 alongside strong analytical skills to deliver actionable insights.
- Leadership: Guide and manage teams to deliver objectives within tight timelines while fostering a can-do, problem-solving culture.
