The Advanced Process Engineer will support R&D/production, and will play a key role in process design, optimization, and safety across mission-critical projects.
The Advanced Process Engineer will be responsible for…
- Leading process design and optimization efforts, including simulations, calculations, and equipment sizing
- Developing technical documentation such as PFDs, P&IDs, process specs, and safety narratives
- Acting as a subject matter expert in process engineering and process safety
- Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Driving continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Supporting project execution through planning, budgeting, and risk mitigation
- Conducting process hazard analyses and developing robust test plans
The Advanced Process Engineer should have the following qualifications...
- B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of industry experience in process engineering
- Experience with heat and material balances, pump sizing, and piping systems
- Familiarity with SPC and statistical analysis tools
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing and project management principles
- Ability to work onsite in Moses Lake, WA (relocation support available)
