Position Overview:
The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing and developing the local team, and driving commercial performance. The role requires hands-on leadership and a deep understanding of freight forwarding-particularly in the ocean freight sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Full operational and commercial responsibility for the Southampton branch
Lead and mentor a team across various functions, with a focus on ocean freight
Maintain and improve service quality and customer satisfaction
Drive business development and client retention strategies
Manage branch-level budgeting, P&L, and reporting
Liaise with internal departments and global offices to align strategy
Candidate Profile:
Several years of experience in international freight forwarding, ideally in a leadership role
Strong operational expertise in ocean freight
